わずか２０ｃｍほどの大きさなのに、岩を彫っているような錯覚に襲われる。というのも、この白い大理石は頑強でとても渋く、鋭くとがれたノミでさえも、なかなか思うように削れていかないからだ。しかし、その分、目が詰まっているとことであり、小さな細工をするには適した大理石だと言えよう。Inspite of only about 20 cm in height, an illusion that I was sculpting a rock came over me. Because this marble is so tough and strong that I can't sculpt it as I expected, even with sharpened chisels. But, therefore, it is fine-grained, and suitable for fine work.
