不動明王 Fudo

展覧会も終了し、不動明王の制作に取り掛かった。

After the exhibition, I started sculpting Fudo, a Buddhist saint.

これは「まどろむ」というタイトル。補聴器メーカーに展示するために制作。

The title is "Madoromu"(it literally means taking a nap). This is made for a hearing aid company.

展覧会のお知らせ

東京都美術館の新構造展でセナの胸像を展示する。今回は石膏原型ばかり６体。期間は６月１２日から２２日。興味のある人はご連絡を。

３ヶ月前・・・ Three months ago...

マリア像完成！ Ｉ finished a Madonna statue.

マリア像が完成した。これでマリア像は２体目。３体目はあるのかな？

５月１日 1st May

今日５月１日は、アイルトン・セナ命日にあたる。はや１５年の歳月が流れた。マリア像を手がけながら、祈りを捧げたい。

Today 1st May is the memotial day of the late Ayrton Senna. Already 15 years has passed. Making Madonna statue, I will pray for him.

世界最小？The smallest one of the world?

一見大きく見えるが、彼女の唇は幅が５ｍｍぐらいしかない。もしかして大理石のマリア像としては世界最小？

She looks big, but her lips are about 5mm in width. Is this the smallest Madonna statue of the world in mable?
