Leaving Paris （パリとの別れ）

Even such a good sculpture in marble stands in a park carelessly. It is weather-beaten and out of condition. I realized the profoundity of art in Paris.

これほど立派な大理石の彫刻でさえ、公園に何気なく置かれている。雨ざらしで、状態が悪い。しかし、この目と鼻の先には、ルーブルがある。パリの芸術の厚みを思い知らされる。
